Workshops

Flock has extensive experience running workshops in a range of settings with a variety of groups including; young people, early years, universities, pupil referral units, intergenerational groups, homeless centres, refugee and recently arrived groups.

Workshops can be tailored to individual groups or could include:

  • Clowning and puppetry in performance; including the importance of play, improvisation and ensemble work

  • Cross-disciplinary devising using a range of different stimuli and sources; including ideas from Goat Islands, Complicite, Viewpoints and Composition.

  • Structuring and delivering workshops in community settings

  • Devising with young people including finding source material, structuring the process and developing a devising language. 

  • Using the voice to it’s fullest potential. Breath work, speech work and the singing voice.

  • Ensemble building - for new companies, groups wanting to team build or emerging professionals

 
 
  • Our workshops can range from a few hours to a workshop series. We can chat to you to find the best fit for your organisation and goals.

  • We have extensive experience in running workshops with people living with a dementia, those from refugee backgrounds, young people, and adult community choruses. We strongly believe communities have wonderful stories to tell and the ability to be creative lives in all of us.
